Beauty in Chaos

Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder. Where some see pain others see opportunity. The love for beauty can help us to see it in all areas. 5 days out of 7 in a typical week can bring us chaos in her appropriate areas of our lives. Treat chaos as the beauty we rarely lay eyes upon.
Love her in all of her glory. For chaos lies all around us. In nature chaos is everywhere, from the bees upon the flowers as the birds dive bomb them for breakfast and the cat crouches below the tree waiting for the opportunity to pounce, all whilst the sun slowly rises in the back ground revealing last night’s rainwater swirling slowly in the newly clogged gutter, soon to create the necessity of the the city workers assistance and patience of driver’s as they become late to work and begin texting the boss, creating a fender-bender, and so on so forth. What does this chaos look like? Where is the beauty? STOP. Breath-in, Exhale out, and just see the beauty all around you in life’s chaos....

Today I was asked why I have moved my nutrition and life coach business online only. Didn't I feel that I lost the 'personal' touch by not physically being present with my clients? The answer is a resounding NO. I actually feel more in touch with my clients and more present in whether a Life Coach session or an Online Nutrition session. Why? Let me tell you (I write this with an easy to wear grin). When we have online nutrition/life coaching sessions we are focused on only each other. We are both in a comfortable surrounding without feeling rushed. As opposed to either of our minds wandering to the traffic and how long it will take us to get home after the session. I am 100% focused on you, my client. Headphones in, incense burning, all of my resources at my fingertips, and the ability to stay uninterupted by others while helping you unblock those challenges that may be preventing you from your ideal health.
Our sessions are individualized, at a time convientient for us both, in a safe...

When I was younger, I loved roller coaster rides. The anticipation as my car hitched into the gears and began to pull us upwards, I would hold my breath as I knew there was a free-fall coming. The pit of my stomach would begin flipping, my arms upward stretched and....whoosh the energy and moment were plummeting us downward as I would exhale in a scream!
Little did I know then that my life would be a continuous roller coaster. With just as many uphill journeys as there was gut wrenching free-falls. Now just the idea of mounting a roller coaster makes me queasy, I mean isn't real life enough?

The interesting similarities between life and roller coasters are not a new parallel, but it is a valid one. After all, a roller coaster harnesses the energy from the exhilarating free-fall to push us back up the next challenge. My issue, I don’t love the free-fall anymore. That rush I use to wait in line for over and over as a teenager has turned into dread and avoidance, not just towards roller...

The benefits of water have been covered and we all now we need are minimum daily intake. So let me ask you...Are you Bored of drinking your 2 liters of water daily? Was your answer yes? I don't blame you. I drink A LOT of water, I mean A LOT of water. Living in Panama most of the time where the humidity lingers at 90-95% I constantly have to hydrate. So drinking plain water sometimes feels stale, literally.
So I don't. I use my reusable water bottle & I spice up my water by flavoring it every day with natural add ons. Here are my 7 top favorite water add ons! Use one flavor per week and never get bored. You may even find yourself drinking more water than usual.

Day 1: Water with two lemon wedges (I prefer lemon over lime but the choice is yours) Not only does this taste better but it also aides your digestive system in functionality.

Day 2: Water with a 1" peeled fresh, ginger piece. Spicy water is delicious. Ginger is great at releiving gas and acid reflux due to it's level of prote...

I am here to give a shout out to coffee...hey ho coffee.
Coffee is recognized for jitters, being a lifeline and irritating erratic heart arrhythmias!
But what you didn’t know and in this order are MY favorite 5 healthy things about coffee:

1. Coffee berry essential oil: Coffee essential oil is considered to be an excellent antioxidant. It is also used to fight depression, respiratory issues, stings, and fever and can be beneficial against general nausea. I love when I get really good grade coffee beans (like geisha) and they have the oil still on the roasted bean mmm that is so good for my skin, my joins, my mind go coffee go!

2. Drinking black coffee (decaf included), up to 5 cups a day can decrease your chances of diabetes by 50%! Yes you heard me a Harvard study suggest 5 cups of coffee a day (way too much for me that is 20 cups of water to stay hydrated!) can decrease your chance s of developing type 2 diabetes by 50! Kudos Coffee!

3. You taste so good in my coconut coffee mouss...
